Jericho Project | Quarterly and One Full Week June 9-13
More InfoJericho Project is our local evangelism initiative, where we go door-to-door in our community to share the gospel with those near to us but far from God. Held one Saturday each quarter and a full week from June 9–13, Jericho Project is a great opportunity to grow in boldness, develop your evangelism skills, and make an eternal impact—all without leaving town. Families are encouraged to participate, making it a meaningful way to serve together.
Active8 Camp | June 16-19
Sign UpACTIVE8 Camp is a high-energy, 4-day experience hosted on our campus for kids in our community who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. Each evening is packed with exciting sports, fun activities, and, most importantly, the life-changing message of the gospel as kids dive into God’s Word. Adults and teens, don’t miss this opportunity to serve and make a lasting impact as we reach hundreds of children with the hope of Christ every night!

Humble Christmas Parade | Dec 2
Sign Up Coming Soon!The Humble Christmas Parade is one of the largest community events of the year, and it provides an incredible opportunity to share the gospel with thousands of people. At our tent along the parade route, volunteers offer hot chocolate, light-up necklaces, and fun crafts for kids while inviting families to our Christmas Eve services. Meanwhile, our Evangelism Team walks the parade route, engaging in conversations and sharing the hope of Christ. Make a difference this Christmas by sharing the true meaning of the season with our community!

Toronto | July 5-12 | High School Students | Cost: $1000
Registration Coming SoonHigh school students (9th–12th grade in the ‘24–’25 school year) will have the opportunity to partner with local church planters in Toronto to share the gospel with the city’s Muslim population and strengthen small church plants. This mission trip combines bold evangelism with meaningful service to support the growth of God’s kingdom in a diverse urban setting.
Chicago | July 22-28 | Middle School Students | Cost: $750
Register HereMiddle school students (6th–8th grade in the ‘24–’25 school year) will have the opportunity to partner with a local church to share the gospel in the surrounding community through door-to-door evangelism, camps, and park outreach. Students can make a real impact while growing in their faith and boldness.
Puerto Rico | August 2-8 | Cost: $750
Register HereOur team will partner with Pastor Alfonso Pagan, our missionary in Puerto Rico, to prepare for the planting of a new church. We’ll engage in door-to-door evangelism, lead kids' activities and camps, and participate in park outreach, all to share the gospel and build connections within the community.
Indonesia | September 2025 | Cost: $1750
Register HereWe will partner with our local missionary partner to engage the native people in Indonesia, particularly within its predominantly Muslim population. Our efforts will include sharing the gospel in remote villages and through street outreach.
North Africa | October 2025 | Cost: $1750
Register HereWe’ll engage with people in markets and on the streets, creating meaningful opportunities to share the gospel and build connections for our mission partners in the field. This ministry calls for team members who are ready to step out of their comfort zones, embrace boldness, and share the love of Christ with those they encounter.
Montreal | October 2025 | Cost: $1000
Registration Coming SoonOur Parisian mission partners are in North America this year so we will travel to Montreal, a French-speaking city in Canada, to continue the mission there. Our team will engage the local residents and Muslim immigrants in this diverse city with the gospel.
Southeast Africa | Fall 2025 | Cost: $1750
Registration Coming SoonWe will partner with two families from Houston Northeast who are living on mission overseas, joining them as they continue to share the gospel with people in refugee camps in and around their town. This trip provides an incredible opportunity to support their work and bring hope to those in desperate need.
IMB
The IMB provides international mission opportunities for young adults, offering the chance to serve overseas at missionary locations for a summer, a semester, or even up to two years. These experiences allow participants to immerse themselves in cross-cultural ministry, share the gospel, and make a lasting impact for Christ around the world.
Mission Initiatives
Through our Greatest Gift to Jesus missions offering, we are able to cap the costs of mission trips again this year. Domestic trips will cost you only $750 and international trips are a maximum of $1750.
In addition the these cost caps for everyone, we are also offering these exciting incentives:
Student Scholarships
In 2025, we are offering opportunities that give students avenues to lower their overall trip cost while also equipping and challenging them to grow in preparation for their trip. There are five ways that students can earn a discount, each worth 10% of the total cost of the trip. This means that if your student completes all five, they can earn up to 50% off! Head of Household Initiative
The Head of Household Initiative is a special opportunity for members of Houston Northeast who are the head of their household and have never experienced a mission trip. This program covers the entire cost of a mission trip, making it easier than ever to take your first step into missions. For more information, contact Darrell Cheney.
Local Evangelism
Our local evangelism efforts are centered on sharing the life-changing message of Jesus with those who are near to us but far from God. Through building relationships and boldly sharing the gospel, we pray many experience the transformative love of Christ. Whether through outreach events, personal connections, or door-to-door ministry, we believe evangelism begins right where God has placed us.
Jericho Project: Share the gospel door-to-door within our community. Occurs once per quarter and for a full week in early summer.
On-Campus Events: We host large-scale seasonal gatherings, welcoming the entire community with the aim of engaging our guests and sharing the gospel.
Community Events: We participate in local community events, such as the Humble Christmas Parade, to connect with our neighbors and share with them the hope of Jesus.
Local Partnerships: We partner with organizations like Care Net Pregnancy Center to provide resources and support to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. We also have strong partnerships with local schools through our Kids and Students Ministries where we serve and share God’s love.
Global Missions
Our global missions focus on spreading the gospel beyond Northeast Houston by partnering with international organizations and missionaries to share the hope of Christ with communities around the world. Through these partnerships, we are committed to making disciples and bringing the hope of Jesus to the nations.
Mission Trips: We offer short-term Domestic and International mission trips each unique to the geographic area and needs of our missionary partners in those areas.
Missionary Partnerships: We support our long-term missionaries who are dedicated to spreading the love of Christ in different parts of the world.
