Child Dedication

November 17, 2024 // 9 or 10:30 AM Service

Child dedication is a practice of thankfulness to the Lord and also a promise to raise that child in the training and instruction of the Lord. Families with children of any age are welcome to dedicate their child at the 9 or 10:30 AM worship service on Sunday, November 17.

A parent training session will also be required for families wanting to participate in this dedication service on Wednesday, November 13 from 6:45-8 PM. Childcare will be provided for this training session.

Children must be registered on or before November 13, to ensure parent attendance for the training session before the dedication service.

When You Arrive

Upon arriving at Houston Northeast, you’ll be greeted by our cheerful volunteers who will guide you to an available parking spot. Inside the building, clear signage and more friendly faces will lead you to the Kids’ welcome desk.

At the welcome desk, our team will assist with checking in your children and escorting them to their classrooms. We have classes available at 9 and 10:30 AM. Once your kids are settled, feel free to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea before heading into the worship service.

Safety & Security

At Houston Northeast Church, the safety and security of your children are our top priorities. Our dedicated team of trained volunteers undergoes comprehensive background checks and receives ongoing safety training to ensure a secure environment. We have implemented a robust check-in and check-out system, ensuring that only authorized individuals can pick up your child.

Our classrooms and play areas are thoughtfully designed with child safety in mind, featuring age-appropriate equipment and regular maintenance checks. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing space where your children can learn about God’s love and grow in their faith.
