Wednesdays beginning August 20 // 6:45–8 PM

Designed for kids 2 years to 5th grade, Northeast Kids MDWK is packed with engaging worship, dynamic Bible teaching, and a strong focus on memory verses and missions. Through interactive games and activities, kids will have a blast while growing in their faith, learning God’s word, and discovering how they can make a difference in the world. Don't miss out on this midweek boost of fun and spiritual growth!

August 24 // 4–5:30 PM

So far, 61 of the 100 we've been praying to be sent have said YES to leaving Northeast Houston for the sake of the gospel. Summer Mission Recap is a chance for you to hear what God did through our mission teams to Toronto, Chicago, and Puerto Rico! We'll gather for snacks, stories, and a time to celebrate how the gospel was shared and lives were changed. Whether you prayed, gave, or are curious about going next time, you're invited to be part of the celebration!

August 30 // 6–8 PM

We love a good theme night, and this one’s going to be a blast. Back 2 School Bash: Women’s Edition is happening August 30 from 6–8 PM in The Loft, and you’re invited! Think cafeteria dinner (yes, really), a fun craft, a little trivia competition, and a chance to hang out with other women. This event is for women 18 years and older. There’s no charge, just bring a school supply or two to help bless local kids, and make sure to sign up so we know you’re coming! Registration closes at noon Thursday, August 28.

September 3 // 6:45 PM

Seeking the Lord in prayer is a first priority for our Houston Northeast family. We have set aside the first Wednesday of each month as a day where we will pause all other ministries to gather as an entire church family for a time of focused prayer and worship. We look forward to sharing this time with you to grow us in a spirit of unity while seeking the Lord together. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend; childcare is available for kids from birth through pre-kindergarten.

How did we get here—and why does it matter? This co-ed class walks through the true story of the Church across centuries and continents, based on Bruce Shelley's Church History in Plain Language. You’ll read about real people who wrestled with real challenges, and see how God has been at work through it all. It’s not just history, it’s your story too. Join us and discover why the Church’s past shapes our faith today. Book purchase is required for this class.

More Than a Meal.

Men’s Breakfast is an opportunity for guys of all ages to gather for a hot meal, prayer, and a meaningful message that challenges and encourages. Don’t miss the chance to connect with other godly men who will sharpen your walk and strengthen your faith. Breakfast is free, so bring a friend and come hungry!

You were created for authentic community found in the local church. In Discovery Class you will learn the vision and values of Houston Northeast and why church membership is essential for your spiritual growth. Lunch and childcare are provided.
